We know you want to be prepared for your treatment. Here are a few commonly asked questions and answers that will help you know what to expect when you visit our clinic.

  • Do I need a referral?
All patients can attend our physiotherapy clinic directly without a referral if they are attending via private means e.g. direct payment and/or healthfund. However, you will require a referral from your GP or Specialist if you are intending to claim your treatment costs under: - Medicare Plan (EPC) - Workers Compensation Claim - Motor Vehicle Accidents Claim - Veterans Affairs (DVA)
  • How much does it cost?
    - Initial Consultation: $95 - Standard Consultation: $85 - Extended Consultation: $160 Your private healthfund extras may rebate a portion of the consult cost. This rebate is subject to the level of cover you have with your insurer and it may be a fixed amount or percentage. You can obtain this information directly from the insurer you are with.
  • How can I pay for my treatment?
Treatments are payable in full at the time of consultation. Payments can be made by: - Cash - EFTPOS - Visa/Mastercard - American Express If you are with a private healthfund, we can also help you process your rebates on the spot via our Hicaps Terminal using your Health Fund card or App.

  • Can I access services under the NDIS?
We are happily accepting and providing services to Plan-Managed & Self-Funded NDIS participants who feel they may benefit from physiotherapy and/or exercise physiology services. Please note that we, currently, only provide in-clinic services as we do not yet have capacity for home visits.
  • Do I need an appointment or can I just walk in?
We operate on an appointment basis and as such, it would be best to book ahead of time to secure an appointment slot. However, if you are in the area and a time slot is available, we will try to accomodate you where we can.
  • I have multiple areas of pain, can you attend to all of them?"
For quality and effectiveness of treatment, it is best that we attend to your primary area of concern with undivided attention. If you happen to have several areas of concern that you wish to have addressed in the single session, please let us know ahead of time so that we can schedule you in for an extended consultation.
  • Will my physiotherapist be on time?
We run quite a busy book and so we understand how important being on time is for everyone. Fortunately, we are usually quite on time with our appointments. However, on rare occasions, we may run slightly late by 5-15 minutes if we encounter an unexpected complex case. In these instances, if our book times become significantly compromised, we will certainly call you ahead of time to let you know if we're running behind.
  • Will I be charge a cancellation fee?
Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments. Appointment Cancellation When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please call the clinic as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 1-day in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time. How to Cancel Your Appointment If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at (02) 8025 1098 between the hours of 9am-6pm Monday to Friday. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible. Late Cancellations/No-Shows A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24-hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the patient a $50 missed appointment fee.
